Storming The Skies: a photographic exhibition remembering the end of The Great War with the Mayor of the City of Vittorio Veneto and Prosecco DOC
To mark the inauguration of the exhibition 'Storming The Skies. The saga of the Italian Front: unconventional aspects of a war', Prosecco DOC co-hosted a reception at London's prestigious Army and Navy Club in Pall Mall in support of the Municipality of Vittorio Veneto, a city of Italy that lies within the Consortium region. Organised by the Municipality of Vittorio Veneto, the exhibition celebrates the last but seminal battle of the Italian Front that took place at the end of WWI, and marks the centenary of the ending of the Great War.
A hundred images from the Luigi Marzocchi Collection of the Museo della Battaglia di Vittorio Veneto were displayed to commemorate the tragedy and significance of this battle. Luigi Marzocchi was an authorised photographer of the Royal Italian Army and he was responsible for the official images of war.
Prosecco DOC toasted to the memory of the battle and the heroism of the fallen soldiers.
