If you go to Pordenone, prepare to be amazed by the beauty and 90 years of history of the Spilimbergo School of Mosaics. This prestigious institution is attended by young students from all over the world who come here to  learn the ancient art of mosaic.

The school was founded in 1922 and has produced thousands of young mosaic artists who have been able to express their creative talents in various places around the city, including Villa Manin and Passariano.

Thanks to the skill and passion of these young artists and the study of different types of mosaic (Roman, Byzantine, modern) it has been possible to create significant mosaic work of international repute.
